You can’t force inspiration
Only after noon do I pack up and move on. I found the perfect spot for writing. A covered hut with a table. I thought: the inspiration will come. But no. Still no motivation. And definitely no inspiration. But still, should I give it a try? You can’t just pass up a place like that, right? After two minutes, I’m done. No, Marnix. You can’t force what isn’t there.
Start of the Hallandsleden
Since the hut where I wanted to spend the night yesterday was occupied, I ended up here, a mile and a half off the route. I still have to walk a tiny bit of the first stage of the Bohusleden and then I’ll start a new story: the Hallandsleden
All types of forest
It’s strange. Every time I start a new trail, even though I’m just continuing on the same path, it feels like a new beginning. It makes me curious and a little excited. And it’s beautiful. Just forest. And I see all kinds of forest.
Open forest.
Dense forest.
Coniferous forest.
Deciduous forest.
Flat forest.
Bumpy forest.
Mossy forest.
Blueberry forest.
Easy forest paths. Difficult forest paths. What can I say about them?
Only the bubbles are missing
I still don’t feel like walking much, but unnoticed, I have almost fifteen kilometers on the clock when I arrive at my sleeping spot. A shelter near the town of Fjärås, by a lake. A lake in which I swim better than ever before. Only the bubbles are still missing.
Overnight stay: Fjärås
