Question 8: What do you miss the most from a ‘normal’ house when you’re sleeping in your tent?

I think the answer will surprise you, because I suspect that most people immediately think of a shower, a spacious or real mattress, or heating. But no, none of that. What do I miss the most? At least often? A table and a chair!

In the early morning, I love to write. That’s often when there isn’t a chair and table available, because I prefer to camp wild. I simply write best at a table and on a chair.

I’m always very happy to see picnic tables along the way, but those aren’t always available, of course.

If I only find a bench, I can lay Wheelie flat and use it as a table. I can also sit on the ground and use my lap, but those are all makeshift solutions and not very pleasant.

So just give me a table and a chair!
